TRIGGER’S

TRIBUTE

DEPUTY TOBIN BOLTER - EOW: APRIL 21, 2024

This program was birthed in memory of our beloved dog, Trigger.

Trigger was part of the family for 15 years, and the first dog in our VP’s adult life and career as a First Responder. Trigger was a loyal companion and always wanted to be by our side.

OUR FIRST OFFICIAL RECIPIENT OF TRIGGER’S TRIBUTE:

Pictured is our Founder and President, Kristina, presenting the Star Police Department (Ada County Sheriff’s Office) with a certificate to honor the first recipient of Trigger’s Tribute, Deputy Tobin Bolter’s family.  Sergeant DeBie accepted this on behalf of the loving widow of Deputy Tobin Bolter of ACSO who was tragically killed in April 2024. Deputy Bolter’s dog Bentley, wasn’t eating after the incident, missing his “dad”.  Hand & Paw was honored to help provide pet food assistance to the Bolter family so Bentley could enjoy his food again and live a long and healthy life!

About the Tribute

This program was created to honor seriously injured or fallen First Responder pet families. First Responders give of themselves daily. In a crisis, they run toward the problem, sacrificing themselves to help others in critical need.

Through this program, we humbly honor first responders and their families in this small way of coming to their aid and giving back to them and their beloved companion pets during their time of need. This program may offer various pet-related support services to the family as needed and deemed appropriate by the Hand & Paw Board.

Eligible First Responders include those actively serving locally - Police, Fire, EMS - and Military personnel.
