Raz was a loving companion for 11 years. Her owner, a patient at St. Luke’s Cancer Institute, was referred to us when Raz stopped eating. Her owner feared she too was battling cancer, but did not have the funds to perform testing to confirm the diagnosis. Hand & Paw worked with the owner so that Raz could be seen by her veterinarian immediately and undergo the necessary testing.
